Add GoVallecito to your phone
One tap opens live lake conditions full-screen, like an app. Here is how to add it on an iPhone, an Android phone or a computer.
You’re using the app already
GoVallecito is on your home screen and opens straight to live conditions. To remove it, press and hold the icon and remove it like any other app.
What you get
- One tap on the icon opens live conditions at the lake, full-screen.
- It works like an app, with nothing to download from an app store.
- It is free. Remove it any time, the same way you remove any app.
iPhone
- Open govallecito.com/conditions in Safari.
- Tap the Share button (a square with an arrow pointing up). On newer iPhones it may be under the … button.
- Tap Add to Home Screen. You may need to scroll down the list to find it.
- If you see Open as Web App, leave it switched on.
- Tap Add.
Chrome on iPhone works too: tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
Android
Chrome:
- Open govallecito.com/conditions in Chrome.
- Tap the ⋮ menu at the top right.
- Tap Install app. If you are asked to choose between Install and Create shortcut, choose Install.
Samsung Internet: tap ≡, then Add page to, then Home screen.
Opened this from Facebook, Instagram or Messenger?
Those apps open links in their own browser, which can’t add pages to your home screen. Tap ⋯ or ⋮ at the top, choose Open in Safari, Open in Chrome or Open in external browser, then follow the steps above.
On a computer
Chrome and Edge show an install icon at the right end of the address bar. Click it, then Install.
