Vallecito Lake map

Campgrounds, the marina and boat access, public lake access, and landmarks around the reservoir. Tap a pin for details; toggle the layers above the map. Every pin uses a verified coordinate — see how we verify.

What's covered: the five U.S. Forest Service campgrounds, the marina and the PRID boat ramp, trailheads, the dam, and the landmarks people actually ask about when planning a day on the water — each on its own toggleable layer, and listed in full as text below the map.

Accuracy first. We only ship a pin once its coordinate is confirmed against an authoritative source. Places we can't verify yet are held back rather than guessed at, so the map stays trustworthy even where it's still incomplete — if a spot you know isn't here, that's usually why.

Getting your bearings: the marina and boat ramp sit at the developed south end near the dam, Forest Service campgrounds ring the upper lake, and trailheads at the north end lead into the Weminuche Wilderness. Boaters, campers, and hikers can each start from the pin that matters most and tap through for access notes and links.
