Winterfest at Vallecito Lake
The lake community's annual winter get-together, out on the ice and around it, in the quietest month of the year.
Winterfest is Vallecito's annual winter celebration — a community day at the lake in the cold months. Make a weekend of it with the winter-day itinerary, and see what's open on the Vallecito in Winter hub.
This year's date & schedule: to be confirmed. Details go up once the organizers announce them. Watch the events page.
Plan around it
CR 501 is plowed as a Level 1 road but ices early, so bring winter tires and check road status and the forecast. For food and supplies, the Country Market is open year-round.
